周公解梦 reads the storm as turbulence in your affairs or relationships — wind and thunder marking conflict, anxiety, or sudden change to weather. To find shelter is read as steadiness held; the clearing sky after, as fortune restored.
Jung read the storm as the eruption of repressed emotion — anger, fear, or passion breaking through the calm surface. A tornado is that force concentrated: an overwhelming feeling tearing through. The storm is the psyche discharging pressure.
Ibn Sirin read violent wind and storm as unrest, a trial, or a swift change sent upon a place — its severity the measure; a wind that passes, a difficulty that lifts. Framed as meaning: what turmoil is blowing through, and where is your shelter?
